I woke up at 3:00 this morning, a steer broke out of a neighbor's pen and was trampling our garden. Me and my dad harnessed the bovine beast and had to pull him halfway to our neighbor's where the owner realized his steer was missing.

No it's not. It's safer to ship day-old chicks because they've got the sac to feed them for a couple days but with adult chickens just get a big box, poke plenty of air holes in it, and through some feed in their for him. But it's your decision, MsChickenMomma, if you want to ship him.

tbh I think shipping would be a last resort. But thanks anyways! As much as I want him gone, I don't think i'd be willing to ship him.
