I just got pecked at by a Dominique in the finger, while giving her a treat. It bled a bit. Rude poultry.

How is it going?

It's going good. I've been doing it every day, three times per day for the last 5 weeks. So I've gotten used to it. One of my young pullets caught wet fowl pox, and she can no longer eat or drink on her own from the damage that was done to her tongue.
