State a fact about yourself!

Quote: Stronger and healthier I've been told but I just love wondering what traits of the two parents will show up strongest in new chicks. I have a pure blonde one a bronze one with black wing tips and a silvery bronze one. Can't wait till their true feathers start coming in. This is day two so mum should be herding them outside today as she usually does with her broods after a couple of days, I can maybe then get some picks of them in the sunshine. I must be nuts, get up at 6.30am on a weekend and the first thing I do is get on this forum after checking out my chookies are okay.

Oh sounds pretty, yes mutts are said to be hardier and friendlier than a purebreed. I say "stuck-up purebreeds" :p When I have chickens when I'm older I'm going to having nothing but mutts, with exceptions of Red Sex-Links , Easter Eggers (which are in reality just mutts), Polish and SIlkies. And a Brahma.

Thanks, that is my girl Sammy when I first got her. She needed a lot of work. But is my baby girl now. I just love that picture,

This is her now :)

She's beautiful. Actually, Calypso would look just like her, if Sammy's mane was a little whiter and the pink snip a little more subdued. What breed is she? Looks part Arab.
