not this dog.Ms heny, with time and a lot of patience, your dog could be trained and taught that the chicken isn't a snack or a meal. I have a dog and a cat that are fine with my chickens and my rabbit! The cat, Luna, is actually a true scaredy cat, curious but scared! Lol![]()
And my dog, Maycee, tries to mother the Seramas and keeps order with the lg fowl. She has learned that chasing and nipping is not allowed! She goes out into the coop with me and let's me know where the eggs are. I reward her by giving her one of the eggs, like its hers to keep, and she cleans it and keeps it close to her. I think she would try to hatch one if I let her! Lol
I've had Clyde, Bonnie's baby daddy, inside for 3 days free roaming the house and Maycee now just watches him. Don't believe anyone when they say a dog, or cat in my situation, can't be trained! My Katie is also sitting now! So it looks like I'll soon have more inside until this weather straightens out!
