I just learned that the vinyl needles for an old record player I have only lasts for one side of a record. So a 3 minute song is enough to wear out an entire record needle. They're about 3 cents to replace, though.

Hmmm, you must be using the cheap ones... Lol. That reminds me, my dad has an old (well, not THAT old) turntable in storage... Neat! My grandfather was a true audiophile, and I think I inherited those genes. This player was from the 50s or a bit earlier, according to a few people online. The needles were designed to wear out fast because the heavy arm that holds the needle could hurt the records. It was either a strong needle that in combination destroys the record fast, or use a weak needle that keeps the record sounding good but are used up like quarters in a jukebox. The needles come (well, came, now they're sold in bulk bags) in small tins. Kinda was like buying mints back when people still bought them, I guess.

Ok, now I REALLY need to get some records... *heads over to ebay*
Uhhh, it's a um, Sony, I would guess from the mid to late '80s. (That happens to be one of the few things that I don't know everything about it.) Diamond tip rings a bell though, but I don't know what kind of tip that particular one has. What kind do you have? I have two players myself. One is an electronic player that plays all types of records with a light head and a diamond tip (it could be another material, but that's usually what they make them out of for high-end ones nowadays) that lasts about 300 hours; it doesn't have a cool audio effect but it plays vinyls clearly with losses audio (pure audio, no file compression like typical MP3 players). I also have the old one that I was talking about.
I wouldn't trust giving roosters away..Is wondering if I should sell my two roosters to a person, it seems a bit suspicious.
Why suspicious? Is wondering if I should sell my two roosters to a person, it seems a bit suspicious.
If your worried about them eating them then I wouldn't do it. I'm sure you could find some one that you felt more comfortable with.Is wondering if I should sell my two roosters to a person, it seems a bit suspicious.
