State a fact about yourself!

When you moved, did you get a bigger coop that can keep them all happy inside year 'round?
No, we haven't had the chance to build their coop yet. When we moved we only had time to build a temporary structure in the corner of the garage. We have to wait until Spring when the snow melts before we can build their coop.

The temporary structure they are in now is almost the same size as the coop they had before we moved. It just doesn't have a run. (not that they would go outside in this weather even if it did....

we built my new coop in the garage... made basically a shed but made the floor tiled it, the made each wall panel, trusses then just assembled put blocks under to level...it just needed painted which it is too cold for that..it probably cost me about 150 for a 6x6 8 ft tall...i scour home improvement stores for cull's or seconds..plywood was $8 a sheet instead of $16 and i used 2x3's which are fine for small structures...maybe you could get a used dog kennel and attach it to your garage so your chickens could get out.
