How do I find answers to my questions about laws.

I've tried serching on-line, but wow!
I dont want to break laws and I know ignorance is no excusse.
However I have a overall vision of how I want things run especialy once things get bigger.

Thing is so far any of my questions:

"Can I do this" or "Am I allowed to do that" Seem to be impossible to answer.

My other problem is I need to see laws - not hear them from someone. I need to read it and comprehend it for myself. To many times in my life people (even people I love and trust that mean well) have told me what they THINK. They tell you with conviction and as if it is gospel truth. Only to find out they arent even in the ball park.

So, in short where can I find written laws about what I'm Tring to do?

Hi there! Sorry to take so long to reply. I didn't see your post until this morning... The requirements for my area were pretty easy to find. I looked under animal control ordinances online. They have everything listed under"fowl". If you don't have luck there- you can try calling the animal control/dog warden. That is who actually issued my permit and inspected my coop. Good luck! Lesa
