State thread!

Hi! I'm in Texas as well, south Texas. It has been quite hot here as has been stated. I am new to Chickens and have been concerned about the heat. And now reading it killing one of sassysarah's really worries me. Is there anything y'all do to make a little more tolerable for your flock?
Right now we are all praying for rain.

When it's hot here in Texas, I take an old ice tray, put meal worms in it with water. Freeze it. My hens love to peck at it to get to the meal worms, and it helps keep them cool.
