Steele Eggers from Meyer Hatchery

Anyone have any experience with these birds? I'm intrigued, but want to hear from folks who've raised them. TIA!

Supposedly they are new to the public. They are a creation of Lisa Steele of Fresh Eggs Daily. That’s what I read anyway.

I was wondering if they are just another Easter Egger but somewhere read that many have puffs in their heads. So thinjing maybe a Cream Legbar cross.

Another mixed bird, called an Easter Egger, that’ll most likely lay a blue or green egg.

Just what I think might be but I think these Steele Eggers are some sort of Cream Legbar Crosses.

It's nothing more then a mutt with a partial crest..I think they personally look ugly and prolly will have head/brain issues like silkies get

I guess it depends in what is important to you. For me I have no interest in breeding. Only care about egg laying. So crossbreeds that do not breed true are just fine by me. I only care asbout looks, egg color and productivity.

birds with small crests like legbars don’t have the same issues as birds with extreme vaulted skulls.
