If they are trying to create a demand then they didn't have to work very hard at it because the Steele eggers are sold out.

They've been sold out for months. I'm betting that the supplier is one person who does not really have a large or stable supply.

I checked the Notify Me When Back In Stock. This afternoon get e-mail notice that there is one chick available for purchase. one chick!!!

I was able to get a Steele Egger chick. I ordered my chicks in December, however, as I know it's difficult to get all the breeds I want on the same hatching day each spring! I obviously don't know much about this breed, but I'm looking forward to seeing how she develops!
