There does appear to be more in the UK and they are usually a lovely 'silver-blue' colour. Not a large breed but very striking bacause of their colouration. This is our young male that was hatched last year.

There was an ad on craigslist a few weeks ago near me that said they'd have them in fall 2012. Search kansas city farm and garden craigslist for geese and they should pop up.

Thanks for the pictures, they are very nice. Yes, the Kreb's were the first to import Steinbacher's in 2004. They are not yet accepted in the APA, but the Kreb's have also shown them and won under "all other variety category. There are other breeder's in the US but very few, and most all of their stock in all likelihood originated from the Kreb's.
