Stella's Social Club

BTW  Mary,  is that cat still freeloading off of you?

He is about to get a one way ticket to the shelter. He has gone from a feral cat that kept it's distance to one who pounces on us when we go outside. He is very aggresive at bumping us hard on our legs and running into us. I had a hard time using the grill last night right outside the kitchen door because of his aggresiveness. I don't like that. We are going to try to get him back in line first but I don't want to deal with cat scratches and sneak attacks.

Oh no! He loves you! He picked you out! That's the best kind of cat. They seem to understand how lucky they are to have found their people. Plus, he's good at gopher control. And he's beautiful. Think of all his good qualities!

If he understood that he wouldn't be charging us and slamming into our legs. I don't need a fall right now. I have to literally pick him up with my foot and fling him a foot or so to take a step myself. This is on my own deck!

Even without the aggressive behavior I have to remove him or my dog regardless. Tucker barks non-stop with the cat scratching at all the doors to get in. When he stayed at a distance it wasn't so bad but it is just off the charts with him now. I can't let the dog out anymore. I have to walk him every time he needs to go. Frankly, Tucker was here first.

You are right You and your dog was there first.

The humane society will loan you a humane trap if you need to.... You might also call the feral cat society in your area. They work to get cats neutered and possibly re homed. If its the blue cat you did a video of Hes not feral though he might have gone feral after being dumped.

Some time with people to work with him and getting neutered would do that cat a whole bunch of good. I dont have the patience... I Love all animals but I try not to anthropomorphize. And I feel the best place for an animal is a place that it can get its needs met.... I cannot meet the needs of a cat... plain and simple. But thats just me and my opinion.

THis cat has apparently been through the trap, neuter, and return program. His ear has been tipped. It is my understanding that he would not be euthanized if we turn him in. I don't have to trap him. I have to pry him off my leg!

Then grab him up and take him back. they will find a new place to "return him" to the wild....

and ask them to send him someplace else.

more pix of my place
Yep the outhouse.... Nope no door on it... Doors and gates suffer the same fate. The wind....

My Late dog Rosie.... standing by the back gate to the yard. Yep blown off the hinges. Only thing that keeps it in place is one screw and the spring closer.
Those dark gray hills in the back ground are Mexico I am two miles from the border.

Yep view from the outhouse My Then Roommates dog sitting guard over me. She was a sweet thing.. Rodesian ridgeback. Those same mexico hills are out there.

Sadly my out house blew over about two years ago.... last year it was deemed unsalvageable and removed... I want to rebuild it though. Its a nice thing to have in the yard. If you just need to GO and are in the middle of working.
