BTW Mary, is that cat still freeloading off of you?
He is about to get a one way ticket to the shelter. He has gone from a feral cat that kept it's distance to one who pounces on us when we go outside. He is very aggresive at bumping us hard on our legs and running into us. I had a hard time using the grill last night right outside the kitchen door because of his aggresiveness. I don't like that. We are going to try to get him back in line first but I don't want to deal with cat scratches and sneak attacks.
You are right You and your dog was there first. If he understood that he wouldn't be charging us and slamming into our legs. I don't need a fall right now. I have to literally pick him up with my foot and fling him a foot or so to take a step myself. This is on my own deck!
Even without the aggressive behavior I have to remove him or my dog regardless. Tucker barks non-stop with the cat scratching at all the doors to get in. When he stayed at a distance it wasn't so bad but it is just off the charts with him now. I can't let the dog out anymore. I have to walk him every time he needs to go. Frankly, Tucker was here first.
THis cat has apparently been through the trap, neuter, and return program. His ear has been tipped. It is my understanding that he would not be euthanized if we turn him in. I don't have to trap him. I have to pry him off my leg!
