If you haven't noticed, the link to Michael's memorial video is in Kathy's signature. Bring tissues.
My serial candler personality took over and I checked the eggs at the end of day 3. Can't really tell except in a couple of Isbar eggs but 8 out of 12 Icelandics are developing. I'll check again in a couple of days. Then I plan to leave them the heck alone until lockdown!
No..........I just recently got my first Orps and I already have lavender, chocolate, crele & bantam chocolate & black. No whites!
I'm not counting Buffy, my feedstore buff from my original layer flock.
Aren't they pretty? I had always wanted some from the first time I saw them. They are one of those keepers even though they are unrecognized.
I was having fertility problems with my Lakenvelder and I set a bunch of eggs. I couldn't wait to look and just took a peek at day 3. I was happy to see lots of veining. Nothing like those white eggs for candling!
I agree Deb. Those dang Isbars are difficult especially at lockdown. Can't see movement.
Mary, Did you write down the date you set your eggs? Three weeks goes by fast.
Ok... It's Official, I have opened all the coop doors. I let everyone free range TOGETHER today. That means I will NOT be incubating for a while.
I do still have some eggs in the incubator but I will not be setting anymore for Quite some time......
I did ! Thanks for the reminder though.
That is great!
Unless someone has your address....
