Big congrats Deb! Awesome. Was the feed store guy from the Elverta Feed store? They raise their own.

Tractor Supply got their chicks in. Not impressed. they have breed names like "Red Pullets" "Mixed bantams", etc.

Yes, Kayson is the emu wrangler, for sure. He turned 2 in November and he just loves to help outside. He especially loves to be in charge of the hose.

I prefer he feeds and someone else waters.

Yes, Fred still walks on his toes on one foot. No idea why.?? He is still near the bottom of the pecking order with the chickens, too. He is trying to let those emu babies know he is above them, though!

I did it...... today I plugged in my Sportsman. Time to hatch!

I sold a broody New Hampshire and her eggs last week.
