We got about the same amount. Our lights went off, but they came right back on. I was very worried for a minute there. Glad you have power again. How did you manage the incubator?

I have not opened it at all and am just hoping the eggs will be okay. Heck, I figure lots of eggs go 7 hours without a broody sitting on them.

2 dozen dark eggs set! I actually marked it on my calendar too!

I will join you! Setting a few in just a few minutes! We can have a hatching party in 3 weeks!

PS - are some of those eggs kinda light for dark eggs? My New Hamps lay eggs as dark as that front tray.

Diva, It's hard to tell how much snow we've had......it all still blowing around too much!

DH is out now with the snow blower to get a start on the driveway.
If you draw a line straight west from Chicago, we are 2/3s of the way to Iowa. Between I-88 and I-80, west of I-39...largest town to the north is Dixon...to the south LaSalle/Peru.....pretty much the middle of nowhere.........
