The last concert DH had been to was Nat King Cole at the Hollywood Bowl................at Christmas I took him to see Trans Siberian Orchestra....................it may have been a little harder rock than he was used to, LOL.  We were sitting so close to the stage, we needed sunscreen for the pyrotechnics.  Loved it!!!


Of course that worked both ways..................I have 19 beautiful black rock and 3 lovely white rock chicks from Brad

Those chicks don't dare poke their mommas! Too bad still photos don't have sound attached or you'd hear why......those hens have a growl/roar that would make any momma bear jealous and those chicks are born with enough sense to listen to them!

I saw four chicks (all different!) climbing on Forsaela earlier, but, of course, when I came out with the camera......no chicks were to be seen

The high here was 41 F so I didn't want any chilling happening if someone was still hatching. I have Marans in the hatcher that started in the incubator with the eggs I gave Forsaela and Frekk and still have a late arrival this morning so hatching could still be happening outside too! You know I'll post pictures when I get some.

Well I culled hard yesterday. I am down to 1 Icelandic rooster I'm planning to put with all the Icee hens. I should be getting eggs from Jake too. I have Ams and Iowacaunas hatching today. (Iowa Blue/AM) They'll be black split to lavender. Maybe I'll have Iowa Blues that are true blue someday

Can't get Micheal's music to play on any computer?... bummer. I'm certain it's good.

Well, I just got home from work. After my nap I'll go out and pull out the incubator and put the eggs in.

Cloud keeps looking like she'll go broody on those golf balls... I actually took the 8 eggs out to put under her and as soon as she felt how cold they were, she jumped off of the nest and headed for the run to scratch around.

Maybe I'll watch some golf. I always enjoy seeing the beautiful scenery at The Masters.
