I tried to take pics of the Icee chicks from the Easter hatch....bunch a wild ones with the hen that hatched them out. They are non-stop, on the go....all the time. I let (as if I have a choice with her) free range. She is an awesome mother hen to them and nobody gets in her way or her babies. I will download what I was able to take (if they aren't all blurs) on Monday and post from the laptop at work.

Oh want to guess how many Icee eggs that 2 bantam black rocks can cover....pics of them on Monday

Well I culled hard yesterday. I am down to 1 Icelandic rooster I'm planning to put with all the Icee hens. I should be getting eggs from Jake too. I have Ams and Iowacaunas hatching today. (Iowa Blue/AM) They'll be black split to lavender. Maybe I'll have Iowa Blues that are true blue someday

Wow, it is certainly quiet..........

Here are pictures, as promised.....

These are the five chicks Forsaela hatched.....four are hers x Falki and one is from Asta x Audun (or Eldur, but Asta prefers an experienced gentleman to a brash, novice

).....



It is hard to get all of them together without someone being blurry.....






Frekka got eggs I had from DMRippy......She hatched two Lav Ams (her Lavs have white in them and I think the one chick is going to be whte) and one White Leghorn Hen x Lav Am (it is the one with the dot on it's head).....
