HI guys. I just changed the background on my blog and used this chicken picture. What is it?

She looks somewhat like a whit leghorn but has spots so I would guess Austra White or something similar. It cold be a white Rock but is not a white RIR--unless a hatchery version. That Hen does not have brick shape!

White leghorn or Austra White. It looks like it has gray or black spots on it.

Looks like a white rock to me. I had the RIW's. Those things have long legs! At least mine did..the girls!

I agree with ron, could be an Austra White. Looking up white chickens to cheat.

I'll stick with a white rock. If it's a leghorn, I will smack my patties.

If the original picture is a rock, then it is a hatchery--tail set is too high for a rock.

Yours is much better.

Must be from a breeder though. We do not see them like this too much.
