OMG I have torn up my living room to work on the ratty fainting couch I bought for 20 bucks! Wait till Michael gets up and sees this! Yesterday I was annoyed that he left a ball point pen on the kitchen table!

Double standard? I think so!

More than a double standard, I'd say.

Well, the dream is dead...I could not salvage the fainting couch. Once the fabric was removed it was obvious. The wood frame fell apart and the stuffing was all ruined. It would have cost me a lot more money to fix it than I could have made and would never be structurally sound.



But, I have a new dream. I am going to repurpose the rusty springs, the legs, and the antique wheels. All is not lost!

I watched that one. Made me sad. Some days are like that. Some days I love pulling the covers up over my head and dozing for an extra hour. It's all good. Michael is talking about a long motorhome trip. Would not have been able to do that with all the animals, so there are trade offs.
