Oh I remember the days when I had 320 racing birds

( I'm 26) It was so much fun. I used to let my team out every morning before school, then jump on the roof (Dad used to go off

) And just watch them fly

Then call them down straight in for brekky! Had to sell them when I went overseas, but I really want to get them again....... Someday soon.

Coz Mum said I can get one but only one....
Would I be better to get none??

I hope not but if he's going to get lonely I don't want one...
He will have chickens to be friends with him??

Look if you reallllly can't persuade them to let you have a pair, you could get a young squeaker and hand raise it, and put a mirror on it's roost where it will be hanging out, that way it won't get lonely and you will have a tame bird. I had this fantail cross before I had all the racers, his name was Pidge..... He used to fly on my shoulder when I called him, and he loved me 'preening' him! PS watch your chooks in the beginning as they can attack Pigeons. Good luck.

Okay I would probably have to contact a breeder for that yeah?
Coz my local poultry auction only sells adults in crates..

Definately! Have you ever handraised before?I used large syringes for mine and found them to be really easy
