Stepped on chick

This was exactly my thought. I'm brand new to the threads and this was one of the first ones I saw. A couple of these replies made me wonder if this was a safe place to come for help if I made a mistake. I'm glad to see all these people standing up for OP!
I’m new here, too, and I can confidently say it’s not normal to see the reaction some had to OP. It’s been very warm and welcoming to me, but I understand the upset and making mistakes in the blindness of being upset, so I don’t think either party is bad 💕.

She is gone now.
Thank you guys for all your help and support, I appreciate it.
I’m so sorry to hear that :hugs:hugs. I agree with others, she likely suffered from internal injuries. Those are hard to overcome, especially with a baby. Don’t beat yourself up, friend, you learn and you live. Take good care of her siblings and good luck 💕.

One of my Brodie’s stepped on one of her chicks once.
She didn’t make it.
I know what it’s like to not be able to do anything. 😭 :hugs
With these babies, it's near impossible to do anything. All you can do is love her while you still can. They're too delicate and small to operate on at home.

I'm glad it's the norm. I just think some of the comments here were a little much and very rude. If you have to say "I don't mean to be [xyz] BUT..." then rethink how it is to be said.
