Thank you all for your interest in Stevie's story. She really is a " poster girl" for keeping ducks as pets, with her wonderful temperament and character. I was searching through all my old photos last night to try and narrow down the exact day she hatched- but have only come up with roughly the week she came into the world. Keeping ducks is wonderful- but having one that is extra special really makes it so worth while... Im so glad that as a breeder on a smaller scale than the large hatchies- I have the option to give the benefit of the doubt- and room to house those with special needs. Today I am taking the " Best Of' my ducks to a show- its just sad that Stevie cant be among them. She may not be perfect in the eyes of a waterfowl judge. But she sure is the most special girl who wanders my yard.

It takes a very special & dedicated person to do the things you do, caring for ducks/duckings that have some kind of set back weather it be minor or major when people bring them to you. It's a good thing your not my neighbor, I think I'd be knocking on your door with ducky ?'s all the time. lmao
