I had a humidity problem in my sportsman tonight and ended up with a chick that was sticky. I was able to save him thus far but he has egg membrane stuck on him. Can anyone help me out with the best way to clean him up with out killing him. Thanks Chris

Damp paper towel and wipe, but if it's really really bad and he can't fluff up within the next 24 hrs on his own, go ahead an run warm water over him and get him dried asap.

Had a few like this in one hatch. Just use a wet paper towel with warm water. Stroke in the direction of the feathers. This will take some elbow grease and care. As soon as you are done, dry the baby as well as you can and put it in the heat source of your brooder. Nice good of saving your bird.

Try using an old soft bristled toothbrush in place of the paper towel, get wet, and brush with feathers. Makes it a little quicker and gets down in better then a paper towel.
