Sticky goo in mouth?

Our injured hen has been trying so hard to get better but now she has a sticky clear goo like subsense in her mouth and seems to be laboring for air. Can I assume she has an infection in her lungs and is on her way out?

have you tried antibiotics? like duramycin maybe?

I would except I can't find a vet within a couple of hours that will see chickens and nobody with prescribe anything without seeing her. So basically they won't give it to me without seeing her and none of them will...doesn't that make a lot of sense

I believe you can buy it at a feed store, or TSC.

Just got back from TSC. Thank you so much. She is pretty tired and to be sure she is getting enough food and water and have been using a dropper every few hours. Does anyone know how much of either I should be sure she's consuming in 24 hours?
