Hi my incubator has been at 99 degrees and 40 percent humidity and I'm on my fourth day. my incubator is still air however, and am told the bator should be at about 100-102 degrees. is it ok if i raise it up now? will they still be alive?

go ahead and raise it to the recommended temperature. It's especially important to have the right temp during the first week, as they are developing all of the tissue that will be the foundation for their organs.

Yes, bump it up, ever so gently. This will take a very light touch.

Then, wait 2 hours before checking. It may take the lightest, slightest more to bump it up to 100.5

Don't rush this process or you could get a spike you do not want. Leave it there at 100.5. Why? Headroom. If the house heats up due to a warm day or the eggs start to give off heat, which they do after day 12, there's a margin of safety there. If you start right out at the maximum, 101.5, there just is no safety margin available.

hey all,
im a bit frantic because the temp is refusing to rise and im afraid I'm gonna turn it too much and then it will heat up to much while im sleeping. im going to bed in about 3 and a half hours. what should i do?
