Still air LG question *please* :)

I have ordered a hovabator online, and of course it is taking super long to get here, and I am way to excited to wait any longer to get started. So that being said, locally I can get a LG still air 9200 for a good price, and I have heard of the benefits of having 2 bators, one being used as a hatcher. My question is, can I actually get a decent hatch from this LG still air if I can regulate my temps and humidity, WITHOUT at turner, or am i just setting myself up for a let down? Any advice, whether it is optimistic or not is greatly appreciated. I am going to start with my own fertile eggs anyway, not the pricey ones I cannot wait to have

Best thing for you to do is to go up into the search box ^ and type in LG 9200 you will get all your pros and cons about it from all kinds of threads.

I am currently using one and so far I have had no problems with it what so ever.

we all went to the same sale and there are a bunch of us newbie incubator owners on here....I am hoping for the best!

Not having the turner in there isn't going to make a lick of a difference as long as you remember to turn them by hand 3x day. The only difference with a turner is getting the temp set up in the beginning which is all done before the eggs go in.

I just hatched 29/36 in my LG. One hatched and then died. There was a lot of blood in the shell. There are 7 more in the bator that I am giving an extra day or 2 to see if anybody else hatches. I use a turner and installed a fan in mine though.

A still air will work, but it will worry you to death if you let it...and turning the eggs 3+ times a day by hand will make the temperatures fluctuate wildly. I would wait if you can stand it !
