Still alive after 29 hours cold??? Please help me understand.

I'll definitely post my results. I have 18 orpington eggs in there but stopped candling and hurried to put the lid back on when 5 of 6 random eggs showed definite life.... I plan to leave them alone until I candle at lock down.
Dumb question....should I still lock down on day 18 or wait an extra day?

I'd lock down at 18.

Day 18 - Locking down a bit early is better than doing it too late.

It's technically day 21 and nothing yet.....17 of the 18 had definite growth and life at lockdown (1 was questionable but I still left it alone) I wonder if they be 29 hours late?

I just had an egg hatch after being ignored by the hen for 72 hours.she ignored it after 2 other eggs hatched.on the 3 day the little guy hatched.we're calling him 72
