but steel makes better armor

50mm of steel is gonna hold up much better to a 37mm round than 50mm of nickel

steel is actually better than eveything armor wise. A 7 pound hunk of steel coated lead going at 2000 miles per hour is gonna cut through 50mm of copper like a hot knife through butter
