Hi ~ I bought 2 chicks at a feed store and one I was told is a Barred Rock - and it's a roo, I cant keep - picture below to show how red his comb is. I think they are about 8-10 weeks.

The other I was told is a golden comet - and i really doubt it. I think she is a Leghorn - looks just like my others. I *think* she is a pullet - but I am not sure. (Her) comb is still very yellow, no hint of pink. Can anyone take a guess please on gender and breed for the white one?

I have 2 barred rocks and they are 8 weeks today and they look WAY bigger than your guy (or gal). Did you get them just hatched? Yours looks very similar to mine when they were younger and I'm still questioning the gender as well. the one I think may be a roo is lighter than the other but they are about the same size. Also greybeard, my barred, is starting to show a tell tell sign with his tail seemingly starting to "sickle" at the end. But I don't know! These are my first batch of chickens ever!

the barred rocks a cockerel as for the white one it appears to be a white leghorn (if golden comet you have a cockerel) and it could still be a pullet
