Still need a name...

Well, you've only had her for a few days right? Just wait and let it come to you. When she is ready for a name, she will let you know. I had a cat in Florida who came already named. His name was Picasso. If it were up to me, his name would have been Tonka. He was such a big clumbsy brute, so it would have fit just fine!

OK, I have issues with naming animals too and they end up being names after food or just whatever the first thought I have when I see them for the first time. Our cats have been: Tigger, Bootsie, Fluffy, Butterbean (we named her kitten Kitty Bean). I asked my 3 year old to look at the pic of your Jane Doe and tell me a good name and she said, Custard! LOL. That's Strawberry Shortcakes kittens name, Kitty Cat Custard. Lord help us.

Custard. Tell her I named the kitty that and watch her smile. And no I won't really do it.

Just name her Jane, for Jane Doe since you are having issues with a name. Since she just lays around like a knot on a log, name her Lumpy. LOL!

I don't know what's been suggested up to this point but here's my 2 cents...

Deloris
Eleanor
Scarlet
Matilda
Guinevere (I have a goat with this name. Call her Gwen)

I don't know why but I tend to like names like those

My cat's names are...
Lily (her brother was Tiger so together they were a Tiger Lily)
Chloe
Wendy (found in a Wendy's parking lot)
Itty Bit
Felix

She's quiet, a lump of love, and you can dress her. Sounds like a dollie to me.
