Still no eggs, ready to give up on quail!

I have 24 coturnix hens and I get between 20 & 22 eggs daily. And I live here in Las Vegas. Right now its about 103 deg. Outside and I still get that amount of eggs. Also a week ago I ran out of feed and I only had layer feed so I took a risk I gave them that and then I ran out of the layer and again I started to give the the regular GB feed and still the same getting lots of eggs. But one thing is for sure I give them fresh water like 3 times a day never leave them without feed even if they have a little bit. And yeah I only have a 4x5 plywood to cover them from the sun. Maybe its how you might care for your birds maybe its something else. Maybe the water.

I still think all the other "stuff" is of poor nutritional value and is not giving the birds the protein level they need.
I am sure if you add the greens and other low protein feed you are giving them the overall protein level is well below 12%.

I think you should try nothing but high quality game bird feed and nothing else for a few weeks.
