STILL NO EGGS!!!

I'm just very concerned at this point, to why my hens are not laying still. They are going on 7 1/2 Months old. Is there anything I could be doing wrong? Is it possible that they wont be layers? We do have a rooster in the pin with them as well, i thought this would speed up the process but it doesnt seem that way!
