My little silkie eggs were rocking nicely the last 2 days and last night they stopped. I checked today and still nothing. I can't hear them due to the fan on the incubator. Did they die on me? Is this normal? What do I do? Should I pull one and see if it peeps? This is day 20 for me so I'm still in lockdown. Please advise. Also my humidity has been dropping so I put the vent plus back in and added paper towel so I can be around 65-70 is that ok?

They were getting into position to hatch should be alright. I removed mine from the incubator and put in hatcher. (have bobwhites not hatching till this weekend) I had one start to pip in turner unfortunately I think it didn't make it, I was going to help it but others have since pipped, so I won't be opening the incubator. Good luck with your hatch Michele

You could take one out and gently tap on the shell, see if you get an answer. There might be a pip, though, but not where you can see it, so you'd have to be careful and make sure humidity stays high in the incubator.

Well well, the one I thought didn't make it, is back in business, starting to zip.

I had my 1st pip while I was at work! ( I just got home btw lol ) im so excited! My big one I thought would be first didn't do anything yet so we will see! My humidity did drop to 56 while I was at work tho. I boosted it asap. Will that harm the piped one? I don't know how long it has been piped.

Its rocking a little but not rolling around the incubater.
