Still not laying

Update, they should now be between 26-30 weeks old, (if they were 8-12 weeks when I got them). Still no eggs. Followed the vent video, they are not productive. Absolutely zero nesting behaviour whether it’s in the nest box or in a bush. The black OE has not reddened any more. The brown OE still acts like a male.

Due to my current situation I am needing to rehome most of my chickens. I am SO gutted because I really want green eggs! I think I’m going to keep the brown OE because she’s redder but I would prefer the black one. I can’t keep both though.

Personally, I would not give up on them just yet. I had bought my nephew and great nephew 5 pullets (Barred Rock, Dominique, Buff Orpington, Golden Comet and Easter Egger) back in mid May at 6 - 8 weeks old and they only began laying in October. The Easter Egger was the last to start just a couple of weeks ago. They are getting 3 - 5 eggs a day now from the mixed flock.
