Here's my girls at 6 weeks.......the one in the front (closest to camera) with her/his back to camera....Roo or not. She/he is 1 of 2 Easter Eggers, but their color is entirely different but started out the same when days old. The one next to her, brown looking one is the other Easter Egger.

She is the only one that when I pick her up she raises the feathers on the back of her neck.

    What do you think??

By its size alone, i am betting rooster.

Still too early to tell, unless you check "down south" [IMG]
However, even without much of a comb I'm leaning toward roo because it does appear to have some serious "hackle" development and color versus just having a "cape" like a female

I say it's a pullet...I have a hen that is the size of my rooster I thought for sure it was a roo, I was wrong. She is a huge hen now.
