You should try posting on the What Breed or Gender section of these forums (or, post pictures of your chicks here). With pictures, many people should be able to help you with telling the gender of your chicks.

I uploaded some new pics, cannot figure out how to view them????

fool proof way. ONLY WAY TO "REALY" KNOW. who crows first? might seem stupid but real its the only way.

Welcome to BYC!

Kelsie X2. Post this question with your pics in the What Gender section here on BYC for lots of great help.

Great to have you aboard and enjoy all your poultry adventures!

Howdy! Maybe these photos will help:

Cockerel on left. Pullet on right.

Can you see the comb already forming on this young cockerel sitting closest to the camera?

You can see the comb and wattles starting grow on the chick furthest from the camera

The cockerel has the bread in this photo.

Hope this helps.

Oh no, looks like I may have alot of cockerals instead of pullets. My Reds are really friendly, they come right up to me.

Thank you.

You can tell the sex by the thickness of their legs & by their wings. If the wings end like a straight blunt line more than likely it's a cockerel but if they end w/ a slant it's a pullet. Pullets also get their tail feathers 1st & are usually fuller & longer than cockerels as chicks.
