I shot a doe last thursday, and skined it butched it out. The legs, meat, and scraps went in the frige. Ive been really busy and I havent had a chance to cut it up into steaks snd roasts. And grind all the extra.

I plan on doing it tmw. Will it be still ok to eat? or did i ruin the deer? its been in garbage bags in the frig sense it was cut from the deer.

Help i dont want to throw out good meat or get sick from bad meat

I'm not sure but if the temp in the fridge is around 35-40 degrees it should still be ok. Most folks around here hang their game for a week in a chilled area, I don't see how a fridge in bags would be much different. if it smells off, don't eat it.

I think it should be fine also.
get it done NOW.....and into the freezer NOW
when cutting, if you have any overly dry edges etc. just trim them off.

You just 'aged' real good

I would cut off any dried or bad spots if there is any.
