Bear is about 14 weeks now. She has no comb and has never done anything remotely roosterish! Its just those feathers that throw me though they are rounded and think that might be cus of the two odd breeds. She is araucana cross silky

She kinda looks like a girl to me, but with silkie in there I wouldn't bet on it. You might want to get a close up of where s/he would be getting saddle feathers, in the side picture there are some there that look odd, but they do at least look rounded.

Thanks kelsie I will try but she is difficult to get close too as she was broody raised. Maybe I will grab her for some pica when I go to let her put tomorrow.

From these pictures, she looks like a pullet. Of course, Silkies and Silkie crosses can be quite hard to sex, so I'm not certain.

Great so excited about her first egg! I only have white, cream and brown egg layers at the moment.
