Still trying to figure these babies out!

Oreo and Abby both have fuzzy feet, but their coloring is almost reversed. I am wondering if we picked up a boy and a girl of the same breed?!? Amelia has AMAZING gray and buff feathers, but sadly is almost 100% a roo. :-( Flash has a pea comb.

I am completely stumped! Any help is REALLY appreciated!!!!

Amelia look like an easter egger. And abby looks like the blue cochins I had. Mine were bantam, but she looks like she is large fowl.

Question: Amelia and Flash spend nearly every moment of the day hopping around each other. I know they are working out a pecking order, but is it safe to assume that they are BOTH males because of their aggressive nature?

I have been doing a little hunting tonight, and I'm *guessing* that Oreo might be a black cochin frizzle.... I really like knowing what I have in the flock. Hopefully as they get older, I can sort it all out!

not always, sometimes you just have a really assertive pullet. And you might be right about oreo.Post them in a few weeks and it should be way easier to tell what breeds they are. key word should be lol.Dosent always work out that way.

if oreo's legs look like abby's then I'd say they are both cochin. Abby has those tell tale rockets (ie vulture hocks) going on the legs.

And here's Flash with some feathers. I am SO unfamiliar with black and white breeds. What are my options besides Barred Rocks, because (he?) doesn't look like a BR to me....

dominigue, easter egger, i think anacona, and atruoplof( spelling) too. But if i had to guess i would say the last one because it is definatley not a doninque or easter egger. I am prettty sure as chicks they re black and white and then change colors when the get rhere feathers. But i am not really fanilar with the last to breeds i listed.

Isn't the feather pattern wrong for those? Their coloring is so neat and organized. This chick's feathers are kind of zany!
