Also the "spur bumps" may be you seeing the fourth toe??

I thought the "spur bumps" were the little tiny bumps on the legs, a good distance away from the toes. (I had to zoom in the photo to see them. They are quite small--which of course is normal for either gender at that age.)

Cockerel. I don't think he was 12 weeks when you got them. Look more like 8-9 weeks to me.

It would definitely make more sense if he/she was younger when christallyn got him/her. If that really is the case, then I might lean more towards cockerel.
