My 6 girls that are now only a year and a half old have stopped laying. Once the heat set in last year we get around 110 during summer we live in southern Nevada. Nothing maybe one. I have tried everything. I give them vitamins fresh veggies. I do give them corn everyday. I’ve wormed them. I read not to give them treats in am because it may stop egg production. So I refrain. So know give in pm before they go to bed. Like I said first it was heat then they molted and now the cold. Any suggestions I’m at a loss.

How many hours of daylight to you have in Nevada? The "average" chicken needs 14 hours of daylight to trigger laying, although I have observed some my own chickens begin laying after I reach 11-12 hours of daylight. Those that do start laying early are the production breeds.

Don't worry girl. All of mine except 3 haven't laid in over a month from molting, light, cold, ice, and snow.
