Stimulating baby goats to potty?? Help Please

Quote:
That explains a ton I wouldnt be so worried about her then, if she was mom fed until now she had no idea what to do with a bottle and it will take her longer than a day old bottle baby to learn to eat since she already had a technique down and eating so little when she was used to eating more she is not going to potty as much until she really gets the hang of eating and eating a good amount.

It sound slike she is getting used to the bottle though so hopefully she is going to do just fine. As long as she is active and playful she is probably doing well.

Yeah glad she is doing better... I was going to suggest an ounce or two of apple juice in her bottle... When I was little I grew up on a farm and remember them using apple juice on a calf once... I know it also worked very well on my human kids when they were babies... LOL We used the karo too but the apple juice seemed to work a tad better... and faster!

Only animal people could truley understand the happy poop dance!

Good for her, and you! I'll bet a weight has been lifted from you.

i know some may say i was being a worry wart..but we got her around noon on Friday, and she just pooped late tonight.(so like 2 1/2 days of non-pooping..thats alot for a baby...).and with my other bottle babies..they always went right away..so i knew that something wasnt right....and i thank all you guys that understood why i was worried..
