I know it's safe for humans to eat (I make soup out of it and put it in smoothies) but was not sure about chicken. Thanks for clarifying! Oh and tea is good for you too!

I use store-bought nettles for tea! They are super healthy for pain, immunity, allergies and all sorts of systems. I am planting some near my run, but definitely plan on protecting some for myself.I fed my girls nettles this morning. I cut them down and let them sit in boiling water for 20mins, then mashed them all up with a bit of poultry spice. They were a but dubious to start off with but when I checked later it had all been gobbled up! So thankfully I've found a use for all the nettles in my garden finally!
