Isn't she? I think her plumage is one the prettiest of all the EEs I've had. I had her name picked out before I got her (Galena is a lead silver ore) and I think it fits her perfectly.Omigosh, Galena is GORGEOUS!
Nice looking birds!Mine (several months apart in age; from different hatcheries) are the Silver Duckwing colorations. The older lays lovely mint-green (bluish-greenish) eggs, and the younger is too young to lay yet. I was sort of hoping that the younger one would have the more golden coloring of Delphina, but I love her anyway!

I grew up on an 80 acre farm here in N.E. Indiana. We had dairy cows then Yorkshire hogs. I wish I could have taken the farm over but I was to young to do much about it! I loved living on the farm!Thanks! I will do some visiting! Have a great day!![]()

Awesome setup! And thanks for the nudge, I will start the winter contests this afternoon! I hope to see some entries from you!y pullets' and cockerel's first big snow! So happy to finally have a nice covered outdoor area for my birds this winter. So far it looks like I built it strong enough!
