Stinky eggs! :(

Ok, so I pick up eggs every day. I crack one to use when I am cooking and bam right in my face a horrible strong smell coming from the egg. Someone told me that rotten eggs smell like this. But in my case I don't think mine are rotten because I pick them up every day. The eggs smell like a very strong oder! I did not notice this month or so back. And my pan smells horrible once I am done cooking eggs. My cookie fans are all going away too cause when I make cookies now they smell like eggs. I dont know what this is but hopefully one of you guys know. Thanks!

Could be that one of your hens has an infection. Don't eat the eggs that smell bad!

Crack each one individually over a bowl and smell it. If it looks funny or smells funny don't eat it. It could make you ill if it is a bacterial infection in the hen. I personally would try to identify which hen it was and take it from there - maybe she needs some antibiotics but I don't know what kind, etc.
