STINKY eggs?

I just cooked 2 of my 4 eggs I have gotten from my new chickens and YUCK! After they were cooked they smelled REALLY bad, like poo! The eggs themselves were clean, they looked and smelt normal when I cracked them, but once they were done cooking the smelt sooooo bad. Any ideas here? These chickens came from an abandoned house where they free ranged, by the way.

Was there anything near them where they were stored that they might have absorbed the scent from it to the eggs? That would be a bad experience for sure!
