I will try the sand & Ag lime for sure. I tilled up the earth and that helped alot. How long do you keep the chickens in the coop after you apply the lime in run. I will apply before light rain........right?
What is DE (diatomaceous earth)?? I've seen that reference alot on here and I'm unsure what it is and does.

Sand & DE together gets my vote!! And I like that suggestion about having the chickens mix it up.

Check with your local feed stores for FOOD GRADE CODEX Diatomaceous Earth. It can be hard to find but is well worth it. Put the term in the search field here and you'll get tons of info about it.
