Hi, there. I've been lurking on and off for years, waiting for the opportunity to have chickens. We just moved, got some space, and I got the go ahead to get my birds! I purchased some Legbar eggs for a class project and will be raising the birds after.

So nice to join in!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. A lot of us were lurkers before joining. I've raised dozens of breeds over the past 50 years, but never had Legbars. However, based on everything I have read about them, they sound like good layers and the auto-sexing is a nice characteristic. No guesswork on gender when they hatch. :eek:) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your Legbars.
