stoat attack

a mink. i think there worse then weasels.

a 120 coni bear works wonders on them and they have really nice fur. (only caught one in my time trapping of the past 3 years, but they have really soft and nice fur so i skinned and tanned mine)

but getting off topic, i recommend using fresh fish for bait and maybe some mink lure if you can find it. (most trapping stores sell it)

thanks for you tips, yes minks are terrible, woman I know just lost 20 chickens out of 50 chicken coop, he did not eat the chickens, just killed them.

same with mine he didn't eat them, just killed them, but I haven't lost anymore chickens after I moved them to the other coops because there so well build he wont get inside them, the other coop he got in was so old, where checking if we can fix it but if we can't that coop will be used for storage house or something

I own a rat trap that is like if he steps on it he gets glued to it, at least that's what happens to rats, will that work on stoat?
the snap traps or live traps work better than sticky traps, and are more humane. do you feed the rats from the sticky traps to your chickens?

I have never used the rat trap before, I just have it, my mom bought it few years ago and never used it

i love my snap traps, I tried poison, but if you catch one in a wood or plastic snap trap you can drop it right into the coop and they will have a feast!:wee
