Stolen baby chicks,,, what should/can I do???

Good advice Redhen, I only have a number to call, or I would drive the 80 mile to get them back. Will call her tomorrow and see where I get with her.

PM her and let her know that all of BYC will be PM'd indicating that she is a chicken thief. I'll notify everyone from A - C, Redhen will take D -F, Em will take G - I ----- get the drift we can blow her out of the water if necessary. This is baloney. People come to your home, partake of your hospitality and steal YOUR chicks ---

You can bet that the chicks are not at her place. They have been placed somewhere other than her place.

But heres my thinking..if the OP plays nice, maybe the lady will play dumb and say,.."ooh, i made a mistake! I'll bring you back those babies right away!"
But if the OP just calls the cops right away,... then the lady will just deny having them,... and really the OP has no solid proof that the lady stole them,...
So i worry that she'll never see her chicks again...

Actually, i'm a witch, i'd drive my butt on over to her house like NOW... and say, "there MUST have been some mistake, i've come to pick up the chicks.."
If she gets rude, call the cops and have them make a theft report right then and there at her house...

No they wont... those chicks are worth a good amout of money...
And theft is theft... be it $100 chicks or a $100 ring...
